Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Still ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Still is a thought-capture and resurfacing tool. You enter thoughts, and the Service helps remember and remind you about relevant information. The Service uses third-party processing (including OpenAI) to analyze your content.
Your Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Still
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Still to:
- Store or transmit illegal content
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Your Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of all content you submit to Still
- License: By using Still, you grant us a license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service (including sending to third-party processors like OpenAI)
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit
Third-Party Services
Still relies on third-party services including:
- OpenAI: For content analysis and processing
- Google Firebase: For authentication and data storage
Your use of Still is also subject to the terms of these third-party providers.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Still is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for data loss, though we take reasonable precautions
- Still is not a replacement for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)
Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through Settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
